About SICC Internacional Fair

The shoe and leather international fair - SICC - is a show with focus in fashion, in a new style and a partnership system of this business field.This union makes the SICC a modern fair that moves fast the production of shoes and leather goods for the second semester of the year,which is the most important for the industry and sales.

The most beautiful collections for the Spring/Summer have their opening in the city of Gramado in a charming environment. During the three days of the show, it is possible to see inside the Serra Park building, the biggest brazilian stores with their brands, the design personalities in shoes and leather goods and the top industries. For this reason,SICC is the new brazilian shoes and leather meeting.

The shoes new castings, new technologies in raw material ,the manufacture process and the business meetings are in the routine of the fair. Make sure to participate in the next Show that will be on May 31st,June 1st and June 2nd  ,2011 from 10am to 7pm.In the last day of the fair,the schedule will be from 10am to 5pm.

Considered one of the most beautiful cities in Brazil and the top one of the region,Gramado is located about sixty miles from the capital Porto Alegre.The access to the city can be made by car or plane, smaller planes.The climate in Gramado is stable, but during the winter (June still August) the temperatures go down to zero celsius in the coolest days, snowing sometimes. With a wonderful nature, the city is known by its delicious chocolates, leather clother and the Light Christmas event. The local gastronomy offers tradicional and internacional food. SICC brings importers to begin the Summer/Spring 2011/2012 sales. Shoe importers will be in the next Show on June. During the fair there will be the buyer project by Brazilian Footwear developed by Abicalcados, suported by Apex-Brazil (Exporting Promotion Agency).

"For this moment,we are making a research with our exhibitors in order to find their potencial clients in these countries", says Frederico Pletsch, director of Merkator Events, promoter of SICC. "After this fase, it will start the invitation for the selected importers approved by Abicalcados/Apex.There will be also the image project that has the objective of bringing international journalists invited to our event.We have a great expectation for this topic,once it helps the marketing of the fair and shows our products to potencial markets", also says Pletsch.
